All dealings with us will be on these terms & conditions (Terms) unless otherwise agreed in writing by us. We reserve the right to make changes at any time. By purchasing and using our products it is deemed that you understand and accept the Terms outlined on this page.
Please make sure you notify all participants of these Terms. If any participant does not agree with the Terms, the participant should not participate in the experience.
Experios products are designed to be self-guided, meaning there will not be any physical Experios staff available to help you or guide you. It is played using the purchased physical game content and the City Discovery website.
It is important to understand that Experios products mostly take place outside, where weather conditions cannot be predicted. It is also important to understand that as part of playing Experios products, public and private locations need to be visited. As cities and places are continuously changing, we do our best to update the product accordingly. We will also list any location specific updates on the website. Due to this, not all locations will always be accessible, which may limit the experience.
To participate in Experios experiences, you will need to access the City Discovery website. A mobile phone with Google Android or Apple iOS is required.
Internet / Wi-Fi is required to log in to the City Discovery website with your unique game code.
Each purchased product comes with a unique game code. Do not share this game code with anyone else, as it can only be used once.
The game code is used to log in, track progress, get help and check your answers. After you log in to the City Discovery website with your unique game code, it is valid for 14 days. After 14 days, the game code will expire and you will no longer be able to log in. This means you need to complete the experience within 14 days of first logging in.
Experios products are intended to guide you to different locations and require you to use what you see at these locations to solve challenges and find answers.
A map is provided to help you reach these locations. The route listed on the map should be used as guidance only and does not take into consideration or reflect the current situation. Always follow instructions and signs and adhere to local laws.
In case a location is not accessible, please notify Experios and do not attempt to access the location. Experios will do its best to update the game content and/or notify others through the City Discovery website.
For orders made through the City Discovery website, all payments are processed by an external party. In case of any payment issues or disputes, contact the payment merchant. For purchases made through a third-party (e.g. online shop, retail store), you will need to contact the third-party.
After successfully placing an order through the City Discovery website, we do our best to fulfill your order as soon as possible. We send your product via regular post. In case we are aware of any delays, we will inform you via email when we can.
Experios products are shipped with a unique game code and are only playable once. Because of this, a refund can only be provided for unopened and undamaged products that can be resold. In the event you purchased the product through the City Discovery website and decide to request a refund, refunds will be only provided when Experios receives the returned product unopened and undamaged within 30 days of purchase. Return shipping costs are to be paid by the purchaser.
In case you purchased the Experios product through a third-party, refunds are only given for unopened and undamaged products that can be resold. Note that some third-parties may not accept refunds or provide credit instead. Read the terms & conditions of the third-party to understand these conditions.
Be aware that there may be instances where you will not be able play the game fully as intended, for example due to weather conditions or changes to game related locations. Experios does not provide refunds to products that have been opened, as they cannot be resold due to the nature of the product.
Force majeure includes all unexpected events and problems, which reasonably are not to be expected and could not have been prevented. This includes, but is not limited to, delays in delivery, third-party negligence, website outages, strikes, extreme weather, demonstrations, etc. Experios cannot be held accountable in these circumstances and does not provide a refund.
All prices listed on our website are subject to change at any time. This includes sales, discounts and promotions.
By participating in an Experios experience, you agree that neither Experios nor any person associated with us will be liable to you or any other participant for any direct or indirect damages that arise in any way. You agree to communicate this exclusion of liability to any person that you invite to participate in an Experios experience.
Experios is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, trauma or other effects caused directly or indirectly from participating in the experience to the participants, their property or any third-party. At all times make sure you follow the rules, watch your step and be careful when crossing roads.
Any illegal, unlawful or wrongful conduct while playing the game should not be committed.
In case a location or road is not accessible or you deem it is not safe to do so, refrain from accessing it and notify Experios.
You acknowledge that you will not publish, photograph, make copies or otherwise expose the product content and answers. This includes both by word of mouth, on paper and online.
Experios is the sole owner of all game contents and owns the Intellectual Property rights. It is strictly forbidden to copy, distribute or resell any of the content.
This includes but is not limited to: design, fonts, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, sounds, videos, data compilations, website layout, underlying code and software.
Each copy of an Experios product comes with its unique code to log in. Due to the nature of Experios products, they can only be played once. Unless Experios provides you with written consent, you are not allowed to transfer or resell your purchased game, including the unique game code.
When playing games offered by Experios you acknowledge that:
Experios experiences require a basic level of fitness, as walking and occasionally bending, reaching, sitting or other movements may be required. It is expected you can at least walk for 5km. Experios experiences do allow you to take as many breaks as you like.
Experios recommends a minimum age of 18 to participate in any of the experiences. However, minors accompanied by adults are able to participate as well, under the full responsibility of the adult.
The experiences offered by Experios require you to be mostly outdoors. When purchasing and playing Experios products, you acknowledge and agree that your experience may be affected by the weather, safety and associated conditions. You will have 14 days from the moment you first log in with your unique game code to complete the experience.
In case you breach the Terms listed on this page, Experios reserves the right to deactivate your game code at any point in time, meaning you will no longer be able to log in, check answers, get help and use the product.
